The Double Taper LIGHT-POST™ ILLUSION™ X-RO™ maintains all of the features and clinical history that the original Double Taper LIGHT-POST™ offers with the added benefit of greater radiopacity and the color-on-command technology. When the post is placed intra-orally, the intrinsic color of the post disappears allowing it to blend into the natural dentition. When retreatment or removal is ever required, the post will reappear on command by simply spraying cold water.

The Double Taper LIGHT-POST™ ILLUSION™ X-RO™ is also available in 4 sizes, with each post being color-coded. The post colors match the drill markings, which helps the clinician distinguish one size from another, before and after placement.

Radiopacity of the Double Taper LIGHT-POST™ ILLUSION™ X-RO™ is superior to previous generations of fiber posts to reach 340% of Aluminum equivalent (ISO Standard #4049).


RETENTION
Patented fiber with enhanced surface characteristics equates to superior retention than to that of metal posts and other fiber posts.


STRENGTH
A proprietary silane coupling agent increases the bond between the fiber and the epoxy matrix to improve Flexural Strength by 200 MPa (12.5%), Interlaminate Shear Strength* (65-70 MPa) and Fatigue Resistance*.
