RESINOMER is a dual-cured, glass-filled, fluoride-releasing composite with viscosity and flow characteristics that make it nearly ideal for bonded amalgam restorations, as a dental liner and luting agent.
When used with ALL-BOND 2 Universal Adhesive System or ONE-STEP, RESINOMER forms an essentially impervious, high-strength adhesive seal to dentin and enamel that surpasses the cohesive strength of the dentin.
The hydrophilic monomer with a carboxylic group in the resin, the filler type and content, and its unique handling characteristics overcome the shortcomings of conventional and pin-reinforced amalgam restorations. At the same time it releases fluoride to help protect interproximal/subgingival margins.
RESINOMER is also virtually insoluble in oral fluids and exhibits low thermal conductivity, making it a far superior choice as a liner or base.
Low viscosity and film thickness, fluoride release and adhesive properties also make RESINOMER a viable alternative to powder/liquid cements of all types.
NEW SYRINGE DESIGN
To facilitate dispensing the base paste and catalyst are packed now in a single dual syringe.
